At this time, FABAIC would have been on its second day. All of us at Silly Farm are feeling nostalgic and really miss seeing our friends, learning, sharing and creating more precious memories. However, one the best parts about the FABAIC is the anticipation. For many of us, the convention is a short escape from our day-to-day reality, where we find ourselves in a colorful heaven filled with smiling faces. Those smiling faces are artists we admire, friends from around the world, and new comers looking to share and learn from each other. The feeling of meeting in person after sharing so much excitement and anticipation leading up to the convention is priceless. I’m happy to have one more year to plan the best 15 year celebration of a dream come true, but I miss seeing all of you. We miss producing for you this unique experience, but we are looking forward to making up for a skipped year with another convention you will remember for the rest of your lives.
That being said, we have an extra year to enjoy the anticipation of the best FABAIC yet! I love pictures, they say a thousand words, and every picture I look at from past conventions are permeated with so much love. Love for the art of face and body painting, love for learning and improving our skills, love and respect for the instructors and most importantly, love for each other. They showed how much fun we had and how the parties and the jams are so wild in their unique way.
I’m getting ready to upload all of the pictures in an album on the FABAIC Facebook page so you can reminisce and smile with us. In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite ones for you to enjoy!
